As a second edition, after 12 weeks of hard work, FEUP students and social innovators have developed together technological products and services aimed to support selected social impact ventures.

FEUP students worked as agile software developments teams with the product management leadership of social innovators. FEUP students learned to follow all the lifecycle of a software product, from ideation to a concrete software product/prototype, managing expectations, estimating their work, collaborating within their team, and communicating constantly with the external social innovators. Social innovators were free to drive the development in the way they think that maximizes the value for their social ventures. Social innovators were also forced to learn how a software product evolves and how agile software teams work.

The time is over. The final releases are ready. The products will be presented in a public event – the grand finale, at 6 January 2017, 14h30-18h30, FEUP room B001.

    • Radio Manobras (5min) – Um projecto radiofónico colectivo e sem fins lucrativos, para a cidade do Porto
    • Plataforma de Participação Política (10min) – Uma plataforma de participação política para Municípios
